Precision medicine with a whole body approach

Cheryl Gupta. D.O.

Dr. Cheryl Gupta is a family physician and has been in practice for nearly two decades. She takes a holistic approach to her family medicine practice that blends traditional medicine with nutrition, lifestyle, complementary and alternative approaches for the prevention and treatment of acute and chronic health concerns.

A large part of Dr. Gupta's practice is osteopathic manipulation (OMT) to address acute and chronic pain and musculoskeletal health to improve the function of the entire body. She is trained in craniosacral treatment and employs such treatment techniques as myofascial release, muscle energy, counterstrain, lymphatic, articulatory, viscerosomatic techniques and more.

Dr. Gupta also has special interest in preventive care, gut health and inflammation, hormones, headaches, nutrition, low dose naltrexone (LDN), mental health and so much more. She places value in finding the root cause of health concerns, but also strives to start where each person is at that time and work from that place to enhance health and wellness.

By taking the time to listen to each individual's unique health circumstances and their personal goals for wellness, she develops a relationship based on trust with each patient. She works collaboratively with them to develop a personalized plan to optimize their physical and mental health. It brings her joy to see her patients heal and enjoy their life to the fullest.

Dr. Gupta enjoys spending time with her husband, their 4 children, and pets. The whole family enjoys outdoor adventures of all sorts including hiking, camping, biking, gardening, water and winter sports. They truly enjoy the beauty and vibrancy of Wisconsin.

Shane Hawpetoss

Shane began his journey in medicine by spending nearly 10 years working as a paramedic, gaining experience in a wide range of emergency situations and earning the 2014 Flight for Life Scene Call of the Year Award. During that time, he also served as a Field Training Officer, mentoring new EMTs and paramedics, and worked as a medic with a local county SWAT team.

After transitioning out of emergency services, he spent the past 8 years managing the day-to-day operations of a busy clinic serving more than 500 patients. His responsibilities included operations management, patient coordination, and clinical support.

In addition to his field experience, he worked as an adjunct instructor at a local college, teaching EMT and paramedic students and helping bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world patient care.

At IntegriHealth, he assists with patient scheduling and coordination, provides IV infusion therapy, and will begin offering massage therapy in August 2026. He also supports overall patient care, practices Reiki, and is currently working toward becoming a Reiki Master.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and son, working in the garden, hiking, and running ultramarathons, with his longest distance so far being 100K (62 miles).
